VAPEC AG - the name stands for competence in boiler servicing. We have acquired this specialist knowledge through the over 120 years of experience gained overall by our staff.
up to 1992: SULZER Boilers Division in Winterthur, Switzerland: new boiler installations and servicing of various boiler installations ranging from small to very large boiler capacities. From planning through to implementation and maintenance.
1993: ABB (ABB Kesselanlagen AG) takes over all Sulzer boiler activities.
1996: integration of ABB Kesselanlagen in the newly established company ABB Enertech AG.
2000: ABB Enertech business activities integrated in the ALSTOM (Switzerland) AG company.
VAPEC AG, with its headquarters in Wallisellen, Switzerland, took over the “Swiss Industrial Boiler Servicing” Division from ALSTOM (Switzerland) AG in 2003. The company took over all business relationships (regular customers and suppliers), patent rights, copyrights, proprietary rights and other rights of use, in addition to all documents belonging to the Division (references, plans, drawings, installation documentation and microfilms etc.) and staff employment relationships. This ensures that VAPEC AG avails of all documents and knowledge to allow it to continue boiler business.
The employed staff of the VAPEC AG have an experience of many years in: Planning, construction, assembly, revisions, repairs etc. within the industrial boiler range.
VAPEC AG has been granted the required license pursuant to the SVTI regulations for construction-site monitoring and production of boiler components.
 
We have excellent relationships of many years of standing with suppliers, allowing us to manufacture parts on the basis of our plans very quickly.
